Nha Trang, Vietnam

Vietnam
Again, this is the short version, sorry.  Connection problems have lost two previous atempts.

Today we visited Yang Bay Waterfall park.  We started at the falls were several people were swimming and sunning on the rocks.  Very much like the White Mountains at home.

At one section of the river there was a spot to sit and place your feet.  Little fish would then nibble on any dead skin, I know sounds gross.  This is call an organic fish pedicure. I have seen them before but never in the wild.  We sat for about a half hour.  It tickled.

We then experienced other parts of the park.  Ty rode an ostrich, we fed alligators with a bamboo pole and ostrich meat, we fed bears with the bamboo pole and pumpkin slices and watched some pig racing.

Next was time for lunch at an outdoor tiki hut area.  We had many good dishes which included alligator and ostrich meat.  The alligator had the consistancy of chicken, but a little fishier, and the ostrich tasted like a mild venison.

Outside the restauant we met the monkey.  we gave him out leftover watermelon from lunch which he really enjoyed.  While I was taking this picture he tried to grab my hand.  He was very cute.

After lunch we went to the final section of the park, the thermal springs.  There were many natural pools of varying temperatures from the coldest of about 60 degrees to the Hot Hot of about 125 and many in between.  We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and lying about in the various pools.

We had a wonderfully fun and relaxing day in the jungles of Vietnam.  Im not sure what I was expecting, but it was not this.  We were told that they are trying very hard with there beachfront to boost tourism to the country and this spot is a little hidden gem as well.
